Hardware Overview

The S3 biosafety system comprises three components (Figures 2 and 3):

HEPA air generator — fan system will ﬁlter air drawn into the system and evacuate ﬁltered

air into room or house ventilation system

■n

Enclosure — composed of polycarbonate top and vinyl side panels magnetically attached

to frame

■n

Base ﬂoor — solid base made of high density polyethylene
