Installing the Backpressure Regulator
The NGC systems ship with a 40 psi backpressure regulator in the accessories kit. If
the column requires a high backpressure, you will have to install the backpressure
regulator.
Caution: Do not use the backpressure regulator with low pressure columns, as
this will result in damage.
To install the backpressure regulator
1. Install the backpressure regulator between the conductivity monitor and the pH
detector (if one is in use).
Note: Ensure that the arrow on the backpressure regulator points in the
direction of the flow.
2. Connect the tubing to the top and bottom of the new backpressure regulator.
