3. Insert system cable 17 that ships with the fraction collector into an

INSTRUMENT BUS connector port.

4. Insert the other end of the cable into the INSTR. BUS connector on the back of

the communication adaptor.

Tip: The RX and DX diodes are communication indicators. You see the

lights flash as data transfer between the fraction collector and the NGC

instrument. The COMM port is not used to connect to the fraction

collector

5. Locate the peripheral cable that ships with the communication adaptor.
